New Releases
Stranger in Town by Brenda Novak, ISBN: 0373712782

What happens when you nearly kill a man--and then fall in love with him?

The car accident was Hannah Price's fault--a few seconds of inattention that changed Gabe Holbrook's life forever, destroying everything he'd been or ever wanted to be.

He was a man who'd had it all.  Intelligent, handsome, talented, rich, he'd been one of the bet quarterbacks in the NFL.  Now he's come home to Dundee, the small town where he was raised, but he's a stranger to the people who once knew him.  Folks think he's bitter and withdrawn; he knows he's just focused on recovering. But thanks to Hannah Price, there are some things that can't be fixed.

Hannah has been struggling to recover from that fateful night, too.  Unlike Gabe, she sustained only minor injuries.  But she's not sure she'll ever be able to forgive herself for making a mistake with such far-reaching consequences.  Especially when Gabe becomes her older son's football coach, and she begins to fall in love with the man she nearly destroyed.

His Real Father by Debra Salonen, Twins, ISBN: 0373712790

Joe Kelly is back in town. He left home with two goals: to fulfill his dream of making movies and to forget about the woman who broke his heart when she chose his twin brother over him.  Lisa Malden fell in love with Joe in seventh grade, but it was his twin brother, Patrick, who wooed her, who pursued her, who proposed to her when she found out she was pregnant. And he would have married her if his life hadn’t been cut short in a drunk driving accident.

Seventeen years later, single mom Lisa is worried that history might repeat itself. Her son is in trouble. Her life is at a crossroads. And her one conviction--that Patrick was the father of her son--has been brought into question. But can she trust Joe with the truth? The men in her life have always left. Why should this time be any different?

A Family for Daniel by Anna DeStefano,You, Me & The Kids, ISBN: 0373712804

What happens when two survivors can't make it alone?

Amy Loar is a single working mother struggling to give her daughter the secure life she deserves.  Joshua White is raising his baby sister's son, only Daniel doesn't want anything to do with the small-town life Joshua loves.  The last thing these childhood friends have energy for is the distraction of a relationship, until working together becomes the only way they can protect the kids they love.

His Case, Her Child by Linda Style,Cold Cases L.A., ISBN: 0373712812

He's a by-the-book detective determined to find his niece's stolen child.  She's a youth advocate equally determined to protect the abandoned boy in her charge.  Together Rico Santini and Macy Capshaw form an uneasy alliance to investigate the child's past and, in the process, unearth a black-market adoption ring at a shelter for unwed mothers.  The same shelter where years earlier Macy had given birth to a stillborn son.  At least, that's what she was told...

The Daughter's Return by Rebecca Winters, Lost & Found, ISBN: 0373712820

This is Maggie McFarland's life's work. Yet each time she helps another family locate a missing child, it does nothing to erase the pain of losing her baby sister Kathryn, abducted twenty-six years ago.  Even so, Maggie's hope is renewed when she finds a man who's turning up more leads than her family has ever gotten.

Jake Halsey can't tell Maggie the truth about his job--not yet.  But he's glad to do whatever he can, using his CIA connections, to help find the missing sister. Because finding Kathryn would give Maggie her life back--a life Jake wants to be a part of.
