New Releases
Her Secret Family by Sherry Lewis, Count on a Cop, Harlequin Superromance, ISBN: 0373713495

Detective Jolene Preston has the right to expect backup from her partner, but the sexist attitude from the rest of the force is something the narcotic squad's lone woman fights on her own.  Until she discovers a thirty-year cover-up, exposing her Cherokee heritage--and a prejudice she can't take on alone.

Mason Blackfox grudgingly helps the rookie trace her family history because he knows personally that lies cause only hurt.  But then his own daughter demands to know the truth about her grandparents, and Mason needs the lady cop.  She's the only one who can possibly understand.

Learning Curve by Terry McLaughlin, Harlequin Superromance, ISBN: 0373713487I

Lesson learned?  High school history teacher Joe Wisniewski may be in a rut, but he dug it himself and he's not planning on getting out anytime soon.  The last thing he wants is to mentor a starry-eyed newcomer, so when he gets an unexpected assignment--Emily Sullivan, a student teacher with a steamroller smile and dynamite legs--he digs in deeper and ducks for cover.

Emily has looked up to the legendary "Wiz" for a long time.  In her opinion, the man is coasting these days, and she's sure a little change in his routine is exactly what he needs.  Besides, this assignment is her chance to prove to her family--and herself--that she can stick to one project.   The question is: Will Emily get Joe fired up or just plain fired?

The Other Woman by Brenda Novak, A Dundee, Idaho Book, Harlequin Superromance, ISBN: 0373713444

A second chance doesn't mean second best!

Elizabeth O'Connell has survived one of the worst betrayals a wife can imagine.  Finding out that she wasn't the only woman in her husband's life meant the end of her marriage and a year of personal hell.  Now she's focusing on her new business and raising her two kids.

Carter Hudson isn't part of her plan.  When he's introduced to Liz by well-meaning friends, her dislike is instant.  But as she spends time with him, Liz realizes she likes having Carter in her life--more than likes it. However, Carter has secrets in his past that he can't seem to escape, secrets that apparently involve a woman.  Liz is sure of on thing--she'll never be "the other woman" again!

Man With a Past by Kay Stockham, Going Back, Harlequin Superromance, ISBN: 0373713479

Will the truth set him free?

Joe Brody: Out of prison but still serving time--all because no one in his hometown believes he's innocent.  He'd leave the place in his dust, but his father--the only family he has left--needs him.

Ashley Cade: Widowed with a toddler to take care of.  She's moved here to make a fresh start--but being accepted into the inner circles of a close-knit town isn't easy.  Especially after she hires the town pariah as a handyman.

Joe and Ashley.  The attraction between them is powerful.  But is it enough to overcome the whispers that Ashley has begun to hear?

An Unlikely Father by Cynthia Thomason, 9 Months Later, Harlequin Superromance, ISBN: 0373713452

Helen Sweeney is driving Ethan insane.

First she nearly runs him down with her truck, then she's taking potshots at a sailboat with empty beer cans and leading him on a wild-fish chase!  She's the craziest--and most interesting--woman he's ever met.

What Ethan doesn't know is that Helen has a reason for her behavior.  She needs his business savvy to help save her fishing charter company so she can provide a secure future for herself, her father--and the little “Bean," her unborn child.  Instead she finds herself falling for him--a definite complication, given her father's mysterious hatred for Ethan's father.  And then there's the small matter of Ethan's desire never to have kids....

Four Little Problems by Carrie Weaver, You, Me & the Kids, Harlequin Superromance, ISBN: 0373713460

For Patrick Stevens less means more!  Patrick Stevens is a great teacher.  All of his “kids" say so--except Emily Patterson's oldest son, Jason.  Jason is Patrick's lone failure--the one student he couldn't reach.  And that's too bad because when Patrick and Emily are thrown together on a project, Patrick realizes he'd really like to get to know Emily better. If only she didn't come complete with those four sons....
