The Lemonade Stand

Five days ago I agreed to write my next three Superromances!  The series is set at The Lemonade Stand.  'We wish a place like this really existed,' is what my editor said to me. I haven't spent much time at the Stand yet, but I can't wait to move there!  We'll be open for you all to join us there in early 2014.  Starting next week, and for the next six months, I will be at the Stand getting ready for you.  I'm already packing my bags, which means emptying them first of residuals from my last travels.  I've been in Shelter Valley for most of the past year and while I hated leaving, I am a traveler and can't wait to sink myself into my new destination.  By Monday morning, I'll be moved in.  I love this time - just me and my new dwelling place.  I wander around, acquaint myself with all the great things it has to offer.  It's a quiet time.  I listen a lot.  And I   focus completely on the people who are there.  Hear every word they have to say, feel every feeling they're feeling. 

One by one, together, we will tend to their problems.  Or rather, they will, with me as their conduit.  Their sounding board.  They open up and show me everything.  And I give it back to them in a way that benefits all of us.  In the doing, we find life's answers, life's gifts, in every single challenge.

We fall in love.  We forge life long bonds.  We make new friends.  And dare to reach out for what we want, to allow ourselves to need what we need.  We have the courage to hope, the will not to settle for less, and ultimately we find our own little pieces of joy.

This is your official Save The Date notification! Spring of 2014.  You are invited to and wanted at The Lemonade Stand.  Located on the beach, in a little town not far from Santa Barbara, California.  Plan to stay a while.  To take a lot of pictures.  And to have a memorable time.  Bring as many friends as you like.  Our accommodations are unlimited.  Bring your worries, we will sooth them.  Your troubles and we will hold them with you.  Bring your laughter and your tears.  You'll find use for both.  Most of all, bring you!
