I'm in. They say unpublished authors shouldn't write the second book in a series until the first one is sold, but the characters just won't leave me alone. So I'm giving myslef one month to work on it while I start submitting. This also gives me a deadline to finish tinkering with the first story. Once November 1st hits I'm done. The only changes after that would be editor requested ones.
Ready to go. I'm writing the third book in The Whistle Creek Series. Book one is an eBook, book two will be posted as an eBook by December 1st, and then I hope to have this one finished by Spring 2012. All three have been NaNo projects.

Kristina,
Just keep writing. The first book I sold to was the 3rd manuscript in a series.
Super was not interested in the first two (to be fair they weren't really Supers and were dated by the third) and they've never sold.
But if I hadn't kept writing I might never have sold. I was in the right place at the right time with that 3rd book.
WTG, Savannah! I have never completed a NaNo, but hope to make this my year!
I'm not a writer but I think this is a great resource for writers. Who knows I may even give it a try or recommend it to someone who could use this :)
I am in as well. This is a great way to remember just to get the words out. I have such a hard time turning my internal editor off.
I've been seeing bites of this all over the Internet.
